Calvary Cemetery |
Calvary Cemetery is located South of Coalgate about 1-1/2 miles, near Phillips, in an open pasture where undergrowth is thick. Some information was submitted to the Coal County Genealogical Society by Lee Elliston on 29 October 1966 Notes from Lee: Calvary Cemetery was erected by William Corcoran 1 Mar 1916. About 1918-1919 this was a beautiful little well kept cemetery. There are several unmarked graves and two three lots with six-inch concrete curbings.
