| Norman is the County Seat of Cleveland County. The Post Office was established on May 27, 1889. It took it's name from Norman Switch, established by the Santa Fe Railway at the site of Camp Norman named for Aubrey Norman, surveyer. |
| Noble was named for John W, Noble, secretary of the interior under President Benjamin Harrison. The Post office was established June 18, 1889. Noble is just 7 miles southeast of Norman. |
